Rahul Bajaj is a prominent Rajasthani Indian industrialist and member of the Indian Parliament. He comes from the business house started by a Rajasthani Marwadi businessman Jamnalal Bajaj. Bajaj Auto is his flagship company. He was awarded the third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan in 2001. He is currently listed 34th on the Forbes list of richest people in India.He took over the reins of Bajaj Group in 1965. Under his stewardship, the turnover of the Bajaj Auto the flagship company has risen from Rs.72 million to Rs.46.16 billion. Rahul Bajaj believes in giving people a lot of independence. Shri Lakshmi N. Mittal

Shri Lakshmi N. MittalRajasthani origin Lakshmi N Mittal is the Chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal. He was born in Rajasthan, graduated from St Xavier's College in Kolkata where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Mr Mittal is widely recognized for the leading role he has played in restructuring the steel industry towards a more consolidated and globalised model.

He is also a member of the Indian Prime Minister's Global Advisory Council, the Foreign Investment Council in Kazakhstan, the World Economic Forum's International Business Council, the World Steel Association's Executive Committee and the Presidential International Advisory Board of Mozambique. He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management in the United States and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Cleveland Clinic.

In 1996, Mr Mittal was awarded 'Steelmaker of the Year' by New Steel in the United States and the 'Willy Korf Steel Vision Award' by World Steel Dynamics in 1998 for outstanding vision, entrepreneurship, leadership and success in global steel development. He was named Fortune magazine's 'European Businessman of the Year 2004'. Mr. Mittal was awarded 'Business Person of 2006' by the Sunday Times, 'International Newsmaker of the Year 2006' by Time Magazine and 'Person of the Year 2006' by the Financial Times for his outstanding business achievements. In January 2007, Mr Mittal was presented with a Fellowship from King's College London, the college's highest award. He also received the 2007 Dwight D Eisenhower Global Leadership Award, the Grand Cross of Civil Merit from Spain and was named AIST Steelmaker of the year. In January 2008, Mr Mittal was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honor, by the President of India. In September 2008, Mr Mittal was chosen for the third 'Forbes Lifetime Achievement Award', which honors heroes of entrepreneurial capitalism and free enterprise. In October 2010 he was awarded World Steel Association's medal in recognition of his services to the Association as its Chairman and also for his contribution to the sustainable development of the global steel industry.

He is the Chairman & Managing Director of the Raymond Group.Gautam Singhania was born in an industrialist family, to Vijaypat Singhania and Ashabai Singhania.Gautam Singhania joined the Singhania family's JK Group of companies in 1986. He later joined the family's Raymond Group, becoming a director in 1990, the managing director in July 1999, and the chairman in September 2000. He restructured the group and sold Raymond's non-core businesses (synthetics, steel and cement).] Under him, the group moved its focus to fabrics, apparel brands, prophylactics, and men's toiletries. He has also focused on international partnerships for Raymond, including joint ventures with UCO of Belgium (denim) and Gruppo Zambaiti of Italy (shirting).

He is also the Chancellor of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science.Kumar Mangalam Birla was born into a Marwari business Birla family from state of Rajasthan. A chartered accountant by profession, Kumar Mangalam Birla earned commerce degree from the HR College, Mumbai, and an MBA in HR from the London Business School, where he is also an Honorary Fellow.After becoming the chancellor of BITS Pilani University, he formulated Mission 2012 and Vision 2020 for making BITS one of the world's top universities.

He concentrated on the industries of cotton, viscose, polyester and nylon yarns, refractory, paper, shipping, tyrecord, transparent paper, spun pipe, cement, tea, coffee, cardamom, chemicals, plywood, M.D.F. Board etc. & Indo Ethiopian Textiles Share Company was established by him which was the first major joint venture by any Indian Industrialist in globe & the Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Sellassie awarded him, the medal of the Mainelik II’, the highest Ethiopian Award. Currently holding the post of Executive Chairman & Creative Director (South Asia) in one of the world's largest marketing communications network — Ogilvy & Mather. He led the agency's work on Cadbury Dairy Milk and bagged the only Grand Prix awarded in the recently concluded Goafest Abby Awards 2011. Born in Jaipur, Piyush is the first Asian to be the president of the Cannes jury in 51 years in 2004. He was also honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award 2010 by the Advertising Agencies Association of India. The proud Rajasthani is the only Indian to have won a double Gold at Cannes and a tripple Grand Prize at London International Awards.

Shri Anshuman JainBorn in 1963 in Jaipur, Anshuman Jain is a member of Deutsche Bank's Management Board and also the head of the corporate and investment bank since 2010. The financier has been globally responsible for Deutsche Bank's corporate finance, sales and trading and transaction banking business. Jain joined Deutsche Bank's nascent markets business in 1995 to set up and run a specialist unit focusing on hedge funds and institutional derivative coverage.

Apart from handling the operations of the investment bank, Jain is also the non-executive director of Sasol, South Africa's leading oil and gas company. He served as a member of the Indian Prime Minister's Working Group on Inward Investment in India. Jain was also a member of the Financial Services Global Competitiveness Group, tasked by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in July 2008.

Anshuman received Risk Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010, as well as the annual Business Leader Award from NASSCOM. He is also a 2005 recipient of the American Indian Foundation's Achievement Award for philanthropy.

Hailing from Churu in Rajasthan, Smt. Krishna, wife of Shri Virender Singh Poonia, who is also a renowned athlete, became an ace discus thrower. The Arjun Award winner (2010) became the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in individual athletics in the Commonwealth Games. The Padma Shri Award 2011 stands testimony to her outstanding achievements. Honoured by the Government of Rajasthan with the Maharana Pratap award, the athlete is eyeing London 2012 Olympics and is training hard for the same. He has translated many Punjabi, Bengali & other languages work to Rajasthani. His work, Paagi got him the prestigious award by Sahitya Akadmi. The great poet was felicitated with the Padma Shri Award in 2011. He also has been conferred upon the Matrishri Kamal Goenka Rajasthani Literature award in 2009 for his work Jhuravo and his service to the Rajasthani literature.

Videocon is also among the largest producer of glass shells in the world. Videocon has also set up India’s biggest crude oil extraction venture in the private sector and is exploring oil & gas in Australia & Oman. Despite his hectic business schedule, Mr. Dhoot always creates time for philanthropic activities. He has undertaken various community service activities in the field of education, health & environment.
